Greetings, ladies and gents of Star Wars fandom. We’re back with another week of Star Wars news. We waited until today because of Rebels, so I hope that’s OK. Let’s check it out. As always potential spoilers ahead.
Kanan/Caleb Dume
In the latest episode of Rebels, Kanan dies to save the others, shortly after Hera confesses her love. Here’s a clip:
Sorry to see the guy go. I for one half-thought he would make it, despite the past soundtrack title leaks. But it had to happen. In RotJ, Yoda says there are no more Jedi other than Luke. Not sure what will happen to Ezra, but my guess he will leave the order and no longer be a Jedi. Check out the Rebel Recon’s piece on it too!

New Look at Solo Millennium Faclon Hasbro Toy!
Making Star Wars has a new video and pics showing a lot of detail of the new toy. It certainly looks to me like this extra piece of the Falcon serves as an “escape ship” or “short-range shuttle craft” similar to the way the phantom detaches from the ghost on Rebels. Obviously, we’ll find out more later. Still interesting to see!
Tons of details on Solo flick from toys!
Lots of images of toys have revealed some details from Solo. Nothing earth shattering but little things that don’t give us much for plot but do confirm locations. There are two many to list here but io9 has a great breakdown here. And Metro has a few ideas themselves.
The Last Jedi coming to 4k, blu-ray DVD
Starwars.com has this press release and the video below. It will include 14 deleted scenes… 14! Can’t wait.
No More EA?
According to Cineflix Disney/LFL are looking at new developers after the issues with Battlefront and Battlefront II. I certainly hope so.
