Clint Howard to appear in Solo!
Looks like Clint Howard, who has been in all of Ron Howard’s films, will play a part in Solo. Judging by the tweet image, it looks like he’s pointing somewhere, possibly giving directions for the heroes? Don’t expect a huge part, just a small, late-addition to the film.

Quay Tolsite confirmed to be a member of the Pyke Syndicate
We’ve discussed this character in the past, and we’ve also gotten behind the rumors that the Pykes would be in Solo. Looks like this is supported by a new LEGO page. Here is the image:
The Pykes have a history of running the spice mines of Kessel, so I would expect this character to be there. I don’t think the character spotted at the sabacc card table is Quay!
Cross-overs between Solo and Rogue One?
This could be the start of something more. Solo is the second spin-off movie for Star Wars, and it isn’t clear to what extent they will integrate characters and such between the first spin-off, Rogue One. One clue is the use of a droid chraracter, L-1. This droid has been spotted by intrepid redditors to be in some new Solo promotional material. Vehicles? Other characters? Could their be more connections? Or is this just good universe building?

Mara Jade in Episode IX?
This one is interesting. I don’t trust the source, but I love the rumor. This one comes from the HashTag Show. Could they be casting Mara Jade? This would be a bit odd, but also make sense. Odd because why was she never brought up in TLJ? Makes sense because it could further explain Luke’s depression, and also provide another character from the previous generation to train Rey. With Carrie Fisher gone, a Mara Jade character could be the leading lady we need to help the new heroes on the right path. Consider Luke’s Force-ghost coming to visit Rey and tell her to find Mara on Dagobah. Or another planet. You get the idea. I think its unlikely Mara will be Mara Jade however assuming the information is correct the character may be a mentor to Rey and take the role that was planned for Leia.
