Solo Leaks Surface
With the DVD and Bluray coming out on Sept 25th, and the digital version due to hit the scene on Sept 14th, it’s perhaps no surprise that a leak of the movie has emerged from the depths of the interwebs. We can’t tell you where that is, but some clips are available here and here.
Lando’s Real Name?
This one comes from redditor Our_Warm_Opal, and is revealed by the DVD subtitles. According to the post, Lando’s full name is “Landonis”. Although we don’t know if this is legit, it makes sense, as pointed out by Our_Warm_Opal that in this scene L3 is scolding Lando, hence using his full name like a mother. Subtitles are known to sometimes contain errors, so we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation of this.
Rocks on the Black Park Set for Episode IX
Making Star Wars has released some new info regarding the Black Park set where filming is said to be in preparation for Episode IX. The part itself is next to Pinewood studios, making it a convenient filming location. However, to make the area look more exotic, vines and palm trees have been added. Now, according to MSW, there are large artificial rocks that have been added to the set. There are several maybe at least six or seven large rock structures that look like they might be assembled into a larger composite structure. The area definitely has an Endor feel to it, especially seeing the Falcon behind those ferns. Depending on how they do this, it could be part of a great callback to RotJ.
