Hello, Star Wars fans! We’re back to bring you another week’s worth of Star Wars news. This week has been full of surprises, twists and turns. There are 435 days until Episode IX. Let’s just get straight to the news.
Star Wars Resistance episodes now up!
The new episodes are available here with a subscription. For a fairly detailed explanation of the first three episodes, check out this reddit post here! You might also be interested in some assorted content from StarWars.com. This link contains tons of images, videos, and stats on a lot of the main characters. It also has a collection of links to new databank entries for the new characters.
Star Wars Resistance: Is Yeager from Batuu?
This one comes from redditor greatjorb88 and suggests based on a background of an image of Yeager and family, the mountains in the back look much like the concept art for Batuu. If you don’t know yet, Yeager serves as a mentor to Kaz in the show.
Episode IX filming location photos!
A redditor has stumbled upon the set of Episode IX. The photos can be viewed here. Tons of details here. Some of the photos seem to show wooden cut-outs representing characters. I don’t know if these are place-holders for CGI characters to be added later. Some other photos like the one above have tons of structures that, I assume, are actually part of the shot. They could also be some sort of tent for the crew, but they look sufficiently otherworldly to suggest the are part of the shot. That said, they could end up with tons of extra CGI on top to make them look quite different.
New “The Mandalorian” Set Photos!
These new photos are coming from Making Star Wars yet again. Lots of detail here about sets that are part of The Mandalorian, including some hanger/door entries that have been updated to hide what is inside, it would appear, and also some wall damage that presumably indicate some sort of fight happened.
